They are listed below, Arbor Family Medicine carries the first 3 versions
3 killed virus vaccines all administered by injection: You cannot get the flu from any of these.
- Preservative free vaccine - 0.25mL for infants and toddlers 6 months – 36months of age
- Normal dose flu vaccine for 36 months to 64 years of age – 0.5mL per dose
- High dose flu vaccine for age 65 and older.
- Flu Mist: Live virus vaccine, by definition, you CAN get the flu from this, but it is a very mild form for most people.
You are advised not to get this vaccination if you are pregnant or have a weakened immune system for any reason.
Children under age 9 receiving flu vaccine for the first time will need a second injection 1 month after the first.
Cash price for the flu shot is $36.
We will bill insurance at your request.
There is a administration fee charged for billing insurance.
If we bill insurance, and insurance does not cover the injection, you would be required to pay the full amount.
